calibornscandycorntooth asked: Hi Ryan. I was wondering, after the transition, does the sex on one's birth certificate change from one's biologically born sex to the sex one identifies as? I read this article titled, "Bathroom Birther: Lawmaker Wants People to Use Birth Certificate to Prove They're in the Right Bathroom" and wondered about the trans* community and how they are affected by it.

Anonymous asked: I was curious if I could go to any hospital that performs hysterectomies or if I had to go to a specific one. I know that I will need to have a letter from the the surgeon in order to change my sex marker on my birth certificate so would it be better if I went to one that specifically works with trans people or if I could just go to any. Thanks.
