I’m not a religious person, but when I see things like this, I always feel like sharing for those out there who are. Someone who responded to this story said it right, the media tends to focus on the extremes, instead of where the majority actually sit. The radical views often influence what we perceive as the majority’s belief which makes it difficult for anyone who is struggling with how to connect their own faith and identity. I often wonder what this world would look like, if people in politics or positions of power weren’t fighting for money. In fact, I believe greed is considered a “sin” which is odd seeing as these extreme groups and people will take all the money they can get to further control individual lives, happiness, and freedom.
