I hope more and more parents stand up for their kids like Tami Kimball has for her daughter after being told that her seven-year-old daughter can’t play on her brother’s baseball team because she is a girl. In response, Kimball said, “I can’t believe that’s she 7 and already having to face this,” Tami Kimball told KDFW. “She’s already having to hear someone say, ‘Because of who you are, because you were born a girl, you’re not allowed to go do something.’”

The more people we have fighting the gender binary and challenging old ways of the thinking, the more freedom younger generations will have in following their dreams and passion.
