Please watch the above video to help you when preparing to come out to your family. In regard to kids, most children just accept you for who you are. If they ask questions about what it means to be transgender explain it to them in a way that is easy for them to comprehend…for example, “When I was born, I was born with a boy brain, but girl body. Now I am going to start doing things that will help me to have a boy body with my boy brain.” -Ryan
