This is an amazing article on some people in China’s experience being transgender. The quotes, the stories, the struggles go to show that even when you live in different countries or regions, the fight is still the same. We are all working to break down the misperceptions of what being transgender looks like. It doesn’t matter what age you are, 3 or 4 or 84, we’re all in this together until the end.

The one thing that saddened me in this article is the last person’s belief and advice to others stating that she’ll never find love. I don’t believe this is true for all. Relationships can be wonderful, fulfilling and enriching after a transition.
