Ryan Sallans, activist and author, transitioned from female to male in 2005 and has recounted his life experiences in his newly released memoir, Second Son: Transitioning Toward My Destiny, Love and Life.

Since he began he has been committed to education surrounding medical, legal and social issues related to the transgender community. An interview with Keelin Godsey, a transgender man who has not undergone a medical transition in order to continue to compete in the women’s hammerthrow. Last week he placed fifth in the Olympic trials, narrowly missing the opportunity to compete in London. I wish nothing but the best for you .Keelin.
